Both mommy and daddy wants baby to be an avid reader. Partly because we see the great benefits to building a person through reading and partly because we are not so good readers who wish to be better. We would like to see our children hopefully become an improved or better version of ourselves. For our children to not have to make the same mistakes or struggle as hard as we did. But this takes preparation and a lot of work on the part of the parents to raise well trained children. We hope you do not become another statistic of kids watching too much TV and not enough books. More importantly, we hope your interest in the bible keeps you from straying away from church where so many young teens leave.
To start you off, we decided to take you to the library. At this stage, you seem to like books for flipping the papers and nibbling but we cannot do that library books so we found a baby corner with huge stuff animals for you to play with. Oh well, hopefully your interest in books goes from chewing toy to actual mental nourishment.
