Grandma's request

Raymond's mother received some old baby hats passed to her. Not sure how old they are but at her request we must take a few pictures of him. First reaction to these hats were the smell. They smell like the traditional chinese wedding invitations - yuck! I wonder if they were ever washed, oh-well just for a few seconds, baby Lucas will have to endure it. From the pictures below, you can tell he doesn't really like them. We did a smell check on his bare head after we took it off and now his head has the same smell.... Ahhh, why did we take a bath before this trauma...

Baby Talk

Recently, Paulina has been given a nice treat every morning. Raymond did not find out about it until Saturday morning when he did not have to go to work. He was pleasantly awaken to find baby Lucas wide awake and smiling. For about an hour, baby Lucas would giggle and make funny sounds. Some people may call these sounds cooing, it's baby talk. If you talk to him, he would talk back and then giggle. Raymond quickly reported this new finding to Paulina when she woke up. Paulina said he's been doing every morning for the past week. It's the highlight of the day.
