Uncle David visits often

Lucas, you are so lucky to have an uncle like David. While mommy was on maternal leave for the first ten months of your life, Uncle David would come over almost every week. He always call before coming so not to intrude in your sleeping schedule and helps your practice any new tricks you just learned. If you look back at some of the videos that show you sniffing and breathing in everytime someone blows your face... that was Uncle David that started it. When you learn to say thank you... say to Uncle David.

What does it take to have good pictures...?

Don't need professional cameras...
Don't need beautiful backdrop..
Don't need any specific time...
Don't need any special toys..

Because you are just one happy baby All The Time.!

We couldn't help it and took these pictures before bathing you because your smiles are just so contagious.

Lucas second time getting sick

Last week you were waking up every other hour at night looking for comfort. So on Friday we picked you up from daycare for a doctor's appointment. We knew something was wrong but didn't think it was bad since you were still giggling and laughing…but just a but slower than usual and refuse to eat. When we got to the doctor, we found you had a fever of 100.3. ?!?!?!? How did we not notice???

I felt so horrible not noticing and could of given you baby Tylenol to relieve your pain. This week, it's mommy's turn to be sick and are going through the exact symptoms you had. No wonder why you did't want to eat - Sore Throat!!! You are either a very optimistic baby or have a high tolerance of pain. I don't understand how you can still be all giggly going through all these pain.

Wonder where did you get your flu from? Daddy or Daycare??

Him Him,

Mommy is so proud of you. Among all the milestones you have reached, seeing you clap for some reason is very amusing. Watching you progress from scooting, scooting to butterflying, butterflying to crawling, crawling to pulling yourself up to standing just seem like the next level. Maybe because we've been trying to get to clap for the past few months and you finally did it makes it just a tap more special. Even though psychology books keep saying not to praise baby for normal daily stuff like eating, and pooing in the potty, but who cares, I'm so proud of you.

Love,
Mommy
